Career changes are possible.
You just need a coach.

If you’ve been thinking, “I can’t keep doing this forever,” you’re not the only one. You don’t have to start over — you just need a clearer way forward.

Coaching gives you space to think out loud, someone to challenge your assumptions, and a plan you can actually act on. If you scanned a poster, saw something online, or just landed here because work no longer feels right — this is a place to start.

No pressure. Just a conversation about what might be next.

What we’ll work on together

This isn’t about blowing up your life. It’s about understanding what’s not working, what you actually want now, and how to move in that direction without losing your stability.

  • Clarity on what you want now — not what you thought you were supposed to want years ago.
  • Realistic options and paths — mapping out what’s possible from where you are today.
  • Decisions you can act on — concrete next steps, timelines, and accountability.

John Fialkowski – Career Coach

Who I am

I’m John — a career coach who works with people at crossroads: teachers considering change, parents navigating transitions, and mid-career professionals feeling stuck in roles that no longer fit. My role isn’t to tell you what to do — it’s to help you see your options clearly, challenge your assumptions, and build direction you can believe in.

FAQ — Is coaching right for you?

What does a career coach actually do?

A career coach helps you understand what you want, see realistic options, and make decisions you can act on. It’s clarity and momentum — not just pep talks.

Do I need to know what I want before booking?

No. Most people come in unsure. Coaching helps you sort out the noise, name what’s not working, and figure out a direction that makes sense for you.

How long does it take to see results?

Many people feel more grounded after the first conversation. Most get clear direction within 2–4 sessions, depending on how complex their situation is.

Is this only for certain industries?

Not at all. This page exists because so many teachers, parents, and mid-career professionals feel stuck and don’t know where to start. I work with people from a range of backgrounds.

What happens in the free consultation?

We talk about what’s going on, what you’d like to change, and whether coaching makes sense for you. You can ask questions, and there’s no pressure or commitment.

“His support has allowed me to see my problems for what they are and how I have the power to make positive choices to have joy in my job.”

— Joanie Y
