Podcast Guest Release Agreement
This page outlines the release terms for guests appearing on the Career Coaching with John podcast. It explains how recordings are used, what rights you maintain, and how the process works. I keep everything simple, transparent, and respectful — no dense legal jargon.

1. Permission to Record
By participating, you give permission for our conversation to be audio-recorded for possible use on the Career Coaching with John podcast. Recording is remote and audio-only.
2. Editing & Production
You authorize me to edit the recording for length, clarity, pacing, and flow. Edits may also remove identifying information if you choose to appear anonymously.
3. Permission to Use & Distribute
You grant me permission to use the recording, in whole or in part, in:
- podcast episodes
- transcripts
- social media clips
- marketing or promotional materials
- future podcast-related projects
This permission is granted worldwide, without time limit.
4. Anonymity Options
If you prefer, you may appear:
- using your full name
- using first name only
- fully anonymously
I will make reasonable efforts to protect your identity. However, if you share identifying details during the conversation, complete anonymity cannot be guaranteed.
5. Revoking Consent
You may withdraw your permission any time before the episode is published.
If the episode has not yet gone live, I will remove the recording upon request. After publication, I cannot guarantee removal from all platforms, feeds, or copies downloaded by listeners.
6. No Compensation
Participation is voluntary and unpaid. Guests receive the benefit of a coaching conversation, but there is no monetary compensation.
7. Coaching Disclaimer
The conversation is a form of career coaching — not therapy, legal advice, or medical guidance. You remain responsible for your own decisions.
8. Agreement
By submitting the guest application form, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this release. A timestamped record of your consent is collected through the submission.
